How to order a Repeat Prescription

By Repeat slip – for regular medication, we can generate a ‘repeat request slip’ to request the items needed.  This slip must accompany each request to ensure that the correct medication is prescribed. If the repeat slip is lost or mislaid please submit a written request for the items required.

Online or NHS App - via the link at the top of this page, you will need an online account. Please ask at reception for more information about how to register for this service.

By post - If you enclose a repeat slip with stamped and addressed envelope, your prescription will be returned to you.

By Pharmacy – you can request your repeat medication via your local pharmacy

We require 2 working days to process prescription requests. The Pharmacy will require additional time to dispense and issue medication.

  • We apologise that no requests for medication will be accepted over the telephone.

Medication Reviews

In order to safeguard your wellbeing, it is necessary for the doctors to review your medication with you regularly. It may be that if you are coming to see your GP on another matter they will perform the review then. Otherwise they may want to talk to you on the telephone or face to face. A reminder will be sent to you by text or post when a review is due. If you do not attend for a regular review it may delay the issuing of your repeat prescriptions.

Collection From a Pharmacy

We can arrange for your prescription to be sent to a local pharmacy of your choice so that you can collect your medicine directly from there, just let us know which pharmacy is preferable.
