Mounjaro

We have recevied the following statement from the ICB 

Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) access in Cheshire and Merseyside

 

The new weight management medication ‘Tirzepatide’ (brand name Mounjaro®) is shortly being made available to NHS patients to support weight loss.

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside is currently in the process of establishing new community-based weight management services, which are set to launch this summer.  

We’re working as quickly as possible to make these services available across Cheshire and Merseyside.

We’ll update our website and share information with local partners as soon as the new service is active.

Please don’t contact your GP before we confirm the new service is available in your area, as they won’t be able to refer you.
